Policies

Where the revision policy, terms of service and privacy policy live, what each of them governs for an order, and the full list of Help Center articles.

Three documents on the main Tucia site govern what happens to an order, an account and a photo. This guide explains how the portal works; these say what we owe each other.

Revision policy

tucia.com/revision-policy covers what a free revision is and how long you have to ask for one. It sets the 14-day window after delivery, and the further 14 days after an order has been approved or closed automatically, and explains what falls inside a free revision: a request based on your original instructions, clear and technically feasible, that refines the brief rather than replaces it. Changing direction entirely — asking for a background replacement on a photo you ordered as a clean-up, for example — is treated as new work rather than a correction. It also says there is no fixed cap on rounds, and that a revision normally takes about as long as the original order did. The portal side of this is in Request a revision.

Terms of service

tucia.com/terms is the agreement between you and Tucia. For an order it settles the scope of the service and what we will and will not edit, who owns the edited images and how you may use them, what counts as prohibited content, delivery and revisions, refunds, how long files are stored and when they are deleted, your responsibilities for your account and its security, payment, and the circumstances in which an account can be suspended or closed. Read it before you place a large or unusual order rather than after.

Privacy policy

tucia.com/privacy explains what we collect and why: account details, the photos you upload, payment information, and how each is used, retained and protected. It covers your rights over your own data and the choices you have, including asking for your photos or your whole account to be deleted. The practical route for that is in Delete photos.

If a policy and this guide disagree

The policy pages win. They are the published version and they carry their own last-updated date; this guide describes how the portal behaves today. If you spot a difference, tell us at tucia.com/contact — it usually means one of the two needs updating.
