Order statuses explained
What Being edited, Being revised, Waiting on your reply, Ready for your review, Closed, Draft and Canceled mean, where each one appears, and what moves an order from one to the next.
Every order shows one status: a colored dot followed by a short sentence, on its row in the order list and next to the order number at the top of the order page. The sentence tells you whose turn it is — ours, or yours. This page lists all seven, where you find them, and what makes an order move from one to the next.
The seven statuses
| Status | What it means | Order list tab | What you can do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Being edited | The order is paid and an editor is working on the first version. | Editing | Message the editor, add reference images, cancel within 15 minutes of placing the order. |
| Being revised | You asked for changes and the editor is working on them. | Revising | Add more revision notes, message the editor. |
| Waiting on your reply | The order is paused: the editor needs an answer from you before they can continue. | Paused | Read the message and reply. Your reply resumes the order. |
| Ready for your review | A version has been delivered and is waiting for you. | Reviewing | Compare before and after, download, request a revision, or Approve & close. |
| Closed | You approved the result, or 14 days passed since delivery without a revision request. | Closed | Download your files. Send it back for one more revision within 14 days of closing. |
| Draft | You started an order but have not placed it. Nothing has been charged. | Drafts | Add or remove photos, write instructions, place the order, or delete the draft. |
| Canceled | The order was canceled and no one is working on it. | — | Nothing. |
Canceled has no tab of its own. It only appears when we cancel an order on our side: the order then sits under Drafts, marked Canceled. When you cancel your own order within the 15-minute window, it also goes back to Drafts, but it shows Draft again, ready to edit and place.
Whose turn is it
The color of the dot groups the seven statuses into four situations:
- Blue — we are working. Being edited, Being revised. Nothing is expected from you.
- Red — we are waiting for you. Waiting on your reply. The order does not move until you answer.
- Amber — your turn to check. Ready for your review. The photos are delivered and waiting for your approval.
- Grey — finished or not started. Closed, Draft, Canceled.
Under the facts line, the order page also has a short card that says the same thing in a full sentence — for example Your photos are being edited or Revision 1 is ready for your review — with a button to the tab you need, such as View edited photos or Go to messages. Once an order has been closed for more than 14 days, or was canceled, the card no longer appears.

| 14 days pass since delivery and the order is still Ready for your review | Closed, automatically. |
