Track an order
Find any order in the portal using the status tabs, the order rows, search and pagination, and open it on the tab that matters.
Orders in the top bar is where all your placed orders live. This page shows how to get to a specific one, whether you know its number or only remember part of its name.
The status tabs
The page header reads Orders, followed by a row of tabs and the Search orders field on the right. The tabs filter your orders by status:
| Tab | What it holds | What the orders show |
|---|---|---|
| All | Every order you have placed with Tucia. | Any status |
| Editing | Orders our editors are working on right now. | Being edited |
| Revising | Orders being reworked after your revision request. | Being revised |
| Paused | Orders waiting on a reply from you. | Waiting on your reply |
| Reviewing | Edited photos waiting for your approval. | Ready for your review |
| Closed | Completed orders and their delivered photos. | Closed |
| Drafts | Orders you started but have not placed yet. | Draft |
Drafts sits after a thin divider because it is not a status filter: drafts are orders you have not paid for, and they are the only ones you can delete. Only the tab you are on shows a small grey count next to its name. You can also reach your drafts from Drafts in the top bar, which shows how many you have.
When you click Orders without picking a tab, the portal chooses the tab that needs you most and opens that one. It looks for orders in this order and stops at the first tab that has any: Paused, then Reviewing, then Editing, then Revising, then Closed, then All. So if an editor is waiting for an answer, you land on that order without looking for it.
What an order row tells you
Orders are listed as rows separated by thin lines. Each row carries, from left to right:
- The cover thumbnail of the order.
- The order name you gave it, or Untitled order if you never named it, followed by the order number such as
#a8k2m. - An amber 1 unread label when the editor has written to you and you have not read it yet.
- Two lines of your editing instructions, or No editing instructions on this order.
- A facts line:
12 photos, and3 notes,2 messages,1 referencewhen they are not zero. - On the right, the status — a colored dot and a short sentence such as Being edited or Ready for your review — and a date. For orders in progress, a small label above the date says what the date means:
| Status | Label above the date | Date shown |
|---|---|---|
| Being edited | ESTIMATED DELIVERY | when the photos are expected |
| Being revised | REVISION REQUESTED | when you asked for the revision |
| Waiting on your reply | ORDER PAUSED | when the editor paused it |
| Ready for your review, Closed, Canceled, Draft | no label | the date that matches the status |
The order page repeats this in its facts line under the order name, next to Photos, Revision and Placed.
Clicking anywhere on a row opens the order. If the order is paused, or the editor has unread messages waiting for you, it opens straight on the Messages tab instead of the delivered photos.
Search for an order
Type in the Search orders field
The field sits to the right of the status tabs. Search matches the order name and the order number.
Use at least 5 characters
Shorter keywords show Enter at least 5 characters to search under the field, and keywords longer than 50 characters show Keep the keyword under 50 characters.
Press Enter
The list shows only the matching orders, with Showing results for and your keyword above it. Select the × on that chip to go back to the full list. If nothing matches, the page says No orders matched that keyword and suggests trying the order number, or part of the name you gave the order.
Rules and limits
- Search keywords are 5 to 50 characters. Press Enter to run the search.
- A status tab shows 10 orders per page; search results show 20. When there is more than one page, the bottom of the list gives Previous, Page 1 of 2 and Next.
- Orders are listed newest first. Reviewing and Closed are ordered by the latest delivery, Paused by when the order was paused, Revising by when you asked for the revision, and the other tabs by when you placed the order.
- All contains only orders you have placed. Unpaid orders stay in Drafts until you pay.
What happens next
Opening an order takes you to its Edited tab, where the delivered photos are, unless the order is paused or has unread messages — then you land on Messages. From there you can review the result, message your editor or approve the order.
