Buy credits

Pick a credit package on the Buy credits page, pay online with PayPal or a card, and see the credits land on your balance.

Buy credits when you want them ready on your balance before you place orders. You pick a package and pay online with PayPal or a card; the credits are added to your balance as soon as the payment goes through.

You do not have to buy credits to place an order: if your balance falls short, you can pay the rest online on the order’s Pay step. Buying a package in advance is cheaper per credit.

Before you start

You are the account owner. Team members do not see Settings and cannot buy credits.

Steps

Open Buy credits

Select Settings in the top bar, then Billing, then Buy credits under your balance. The page is headed Buy credits, with ← Balance to go back.

Choose a package

The packages are listed in one table with three columns: Package, Per credit and Price. Discounted packages carry a small Save …% label next to their price per credit.

Select a row. Its round button fills in and the row turns grey. The bar under the table now shows what you picked, for example 30 credits · US$204.00 with List price US$240.00 · you save US$36.00 underneath.

Pay with PayPal or a card

Two buttons sit on the right of that bar: the yellow Pay with PayPal button and the green Pay US$204.00 with card. Both stay grey until you choose a package (Choose a package).

Select one. The button reads Taking you to PayPal… or Taking you to the card payment page…, and the whole page moves to PayPal’s or Stripe’s own secure payment page. Pay there.

Come back to the result

After paying you come straight back to a Payment page that reads, for example, 30 credits added to your balance — Thank you — we received your payment of US$204.00. Your balance is now 46 credits. Select View receipt to open the receipt, or Back to billing.

If the payment does not go through

What the Payment page says What it means
Checking your payment… We are confirming the payment with PayPal or Stripe. Please keep this page open for a moment.
Your payment is still processing The provider has not finished. Once it completes, your credits are added automatically — you can leave this page.
Payment was not completed We did not receive a payment for these credits, so you have not been charged. Back to packages lets you try again.
Your payment was declined Nothing was charged. Try again, or choose the other payment method.
We could not check your payment The provider is not answering. If you already paid, the payment is not lost and your credits are added automatically. You can check again or leave the page.

If you cancel on the PayPal or Stripe page and come back, the Buy credits page shows Payment was cancelled — You have not been charged. Choose a package and a payment method when you are ready.

Rules and limits

  • Credits never expire, and bigger packages cost less per credit.
  • The standard packages are 1, 10, 30 and 50 credits, at US$8.00, US$7.20, US$6.80 and US$6.40 per credit. Business accounts and some long-standing customers see their own list — the page always shows the packages you can buy.
  • You pay on PayPal’s or Stripe’s page. Tucia never sees your card details, and we never ask for card numbers by email.
  • PayPal and Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted.
  • If one provider is temporarily unavailable, the page says so (PayPal is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a few minutes or use another payment method.) — use the other button.
  • If a package was changed while you were choosing, you see That package is no longer available and the list refreshes. Choose again.

What happens next

The credits are on your balance at once, and the balance in the top bar goes up. The purchase appears on Billing history as Upfront purchase, with its receipt. See Billing history and receipts.

Covering a shortfall on one order

If we ever send you a link to an Order adjustment page for a particular order, it shows a single package — the exact number of credits that order still needs — already selected. That page cannot take payment online yet: it reads Online payment isn't available in this portal yet. Email us and we'll send a secure payment link for this amount the same business day. Use Email us.

For an order you are placing yourself you do not need this: the Pay step lets you pay the shortfall online. See Review and pay.
