Delete a draft order
Find the orders you started but never paid for, pick one up again, or delete it together with its photos.
An order you started but never paid for stays a draft. Drafts cost nothing and do not expire, so there is no need to clear them — but when one is no longer useful, you can delete it and its photos in one step.
Every click on New order creates a new draft straight away, even before you add a photo. If you clicked it twice by accident, you will find an empty Untitled order among your drafts; deleting it is safe.
Before you start
Only drafts can be deleted. An order you have already paid for cannot be deleted; it can be canceled within 15 minutes of paying, which turns it back into a draft.
Find your drafts
- In the top bar, select Drafts. The link shows how many drafts you have, for example Drafts (2), and only appears when you have at least one.
- On the order list, Drafts is also the last tab, after a thin divider: All · Editing · Revising · Paused · Reviewing · Closed │ Drafts.
Each row shows the order name (or Untitled order), its number, the first lines of your instructions (or “No editing instructions on this order”), the photo count, the status Draft and the date you started it. With no drafts at all, the page says No drafts waiting — “Photos you upload without checking out will wait for you here.”
Pick a draft up again
Click the row. The draft opens in its workspace with every photo, group, note and instruction where you left it, and you carry on with Continue to review. Text you typed but that had not reached our servers yet is restored from your browser.
Delete a draft
Select the trash icon
On the Drafts list, select the trash icon at the far right of the row. There is no delete button inside the workspace itself.
Confirm in your browser's dialog
Your browser asks: Delete draft #f6p2d? Photos uploaded to it will be removed. Select OK to delete, or Cancel to keep it.
Check the result
The row disappears with the message Draft deleted, and the count next to Drafts in the top bar goes down by one. If something goes wrong you see Could not delete this draft and the draft stays.
Rules and limits
- Only your own unpaid orders can be deleted, and only from the Drafts list.
- The photos you uploaded to that draft go with it — that is what the confirmation warns about. Keep your originals on your own computer.
- There is no undo. If you might still want the order, leave the draft where it is: drafts do not expire and cost nothing.
Canceling a placed order puts it back in Drafts
If you have already paid, the order cannot be deleted, but it can be canceled within 15 minutes of paying. The credits go back to your balance, and the order returns to Drafts with its photos and instructions, so you can place it again or delete it as described above. See Cancel an order.
If you are on a team account
When a team member prepares an order that only the account owner can pay for, the order waits in Drafts. The account owner signs in, opens it from Drafts, and completes it.
