Download edited photos
Get your finished photos one at a time or as one ZIP archive per version, from the Edited tab of the order or from the compare view.
Every delivered version of your order sits on the Edited tab. You can take a single photo, or a whole version in one ZIP archive. Downloading costs no credits and does not change the status of your order.
Before you start
- The order must have a delivery. Until the first version arrives, the tab shows No edited photos yet — “Your photos are with our editors. We will email you the moment the first version is ready.”
- You do not have to approve the order before downloading. Approving is a separate step, and after it you still have your files.
Steps
Open the Edited tab
Open the order from Orders in the top bar and select Edited. It is the tab the order opens on unless the order is paused or has unread messages. The S / M / L switch on the right of the tab row changes how large the photos are shown.
Download one photo
Point at a photo. A download icon appears in its top-right corner; click it and the full-resolution file opens in a new browser tab, where your browser saves or shows it.
The same file is one click away in the compare view: click a photo to open it full screen, and use Download at the top.
Download a whole version
Each version has its own button on the line with its name and photo count: Download All in Full-Res. Click it and your browser starts downloading one ZIP archive with every photo of that version — there is nothing to wait for on the page.
Download an earlier version
If the order has been revised, only the latest version is shown. Show the earlier version (First delivery) at the bottom adds the version before it, labeled Earlier version, with its own photos and its own Download All in Full-Res button.
Rules and limits
- A version with a single photo is not packed. Its button reads Download Full-Res Version and gives you the file itself.
- Older orders may only download photo by photo. When some photos of a version are stored on our older servers, the button is greyed out and reads Download each photo individually; use the download icon on each photo instead. If the archive cannot be put together when you click, the portal says This delivery can’t be downloaded as one ZIP. Please download each photo individually.
- On older deliveries the button can read Batch download link expired. Single photos usually still download — see Storage and expiry.
- If the download does not start, the portal says We couldn’t start the download. Please try again in a few minutes, or contact support if it keeps happening.
- Delivered files keep the name you uploaded them with; a revision adds
.x1,.x2and so on. See File names of delivered photos.
What happens next
Nothing changes in the order because you downloaded something. When the photos are right, use Approve & close at the top of the order; if something still needs work, ask for a revision instead. Full-resolution files stay available for 180 days after delivery, so download the set you want to keep rather than relying on the portal months later.
