How a zero-gravity composite is made
The editor starts from a photo of you jumping, lying down, or held in a pose, cuts the subject out by hand, removes any support (a chair, a hand, the floor), and rebuilds the scene so nothing is holding you up. Hair, clothing, and small objects are adjusted to look as if they are drifting, and shadows are repainted so the subject appears to float a few feet off the ground. Because every detail is rebuilt manually, this is our most involved composite.
What to send us
A photo taken from a low or straight angle with the whole body in frame. The easiest setup is a jump shot or a photo of you lying on a plain floor or bed; the editor removes the surface and adds the floating look. If props should float with you (books, shoes, a backpack), include them in the shot.
Good to know
This example is a 5-credit custom edit (about US$40). It costs more than a simple background swap because the body, props, and shadows all have to be rebuilt. Most orders are still delivered within 24 hours.
